Taco Offers New Controls for Chilled Beam Applications

Jan 23, 2012 | Events

Chicago, IL – January 23, 2012 – Taco is also introducing its latest generation of advanced hydronic controllers. Taco’s new series of iWorx® CHB controllers provide full integration of chilled beam systems, while simplifying installation.

The controllers monitor system needs, and provide a variable speed output to Taco’s specially-designed circulators and mixing blocks. The modulated output from the CHB controller provides system comfort under any operating condition while greatly reducing the control cost associated with these systems. The controllers calculate dew point and capture BTU data to assure that chilled beam systems operate efficiently under any climatic condition.

As with all iWorx controllers, the new CHB controllers are completely self configuring network devices. The iWorx web-capable network displays all system functionality, allows full system access in a password protected format over the internet, and features alarm capabilities via any web enabled device.

Now, iWorx also includes advanced hydronic controllers designed for emerging markets in geothermal and BTU metering applications. The New iWorx controllers provide complete system control capability to maximize system efficiencies and simplify installation.
