Benjamin White
President, Taco Family of Companies
Benjamin White is a fourth-generation leader of the Taco Family of Companies, a Rhode Island–based manufacturing organization with more than a century of history. Known for his humility, curiosity, and servant-leadership approach, Ben leads with deep respect for the people and values that have shaped Taco’s enduring success.
Committed to earning his leadership through experience rather than legacy, Ben built his career from the ground up within the organization. He began as a Commercial Pump Assembler and advanced through roles in Sales and Marketing and Technical Services, gaining a strong operational and customer-focused foundation. He later progressed to positions including Junior Product Manager, Integration Manager, Senior Analyst, Planning and Inventory Control Manager, and Supply Chain Manager for residential products. Most recently, he led Taco’s enterprise-wide Business Operations Systems initiative, strengthening operational performance and cross-functional alignment across the company. This breadth of experience has given Ben a comprehensive understanding of the business and earned him the trust and respect of colleagues at every level.
In October 2025, Ben was named Interim President of the Taco Family of Companies. In this role, he is focused on advancing operational excellence while fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, continuous improvement, and a people-first philosophy that reflects Taco’s long-standing values.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Ben is deeply engaged in the Rhode Island community. He serves as Vice Chair of the White Family Foundation, supporting philanthropic initiatives that advance the arts, education, and healthcare. He is also an active board member of St. Andrew’s School and a former Board of Trustee for Wheaton College, where he contributes to expanding educational access and enhancing the student experience. A graduate of Leadership Rhode Island’s 2025 Phi II Class, Ben is committed to developing future leaders and strengthening the region’s manufacturing community.
