Britney Crisafulli, Manager of Business Operating Systems at Taco, has been honored as one of Providence Business News’ 2025 “40 Under Forty,” recognizing young professionals who excel in their careers and make meaningful contributions to their communities. For Britney, this accolade is not just a milestone—it’s a reflection of resilience, growth, and a deep commitment to lifting others as she climbs.
A journey defined by curiosity and adaptability
Britney’s professional path is anything but traditional. Beginning her studies in fashion design, she quickly discovered a fascination with the structural and logistical side of the industry, which sparked a pivot into product development and color theory. That curiosity set the stage for roles in product management and project management and, ultimately, her current position at Taco, where she supports the business operations system. Each step has built on the last, giving her a uniquely strategic and cross-functional perspective.
“I’m proud of the work I’ve done, and this recognition motivates me to keep pushing forward and finding ways to make a positive impact,” Britney shared.
Navigating challenges and embracing growth
One of the most significant turning points in Britney’s journey came with becoming a mother while working full time, without much family support nearby. “Balancing career growth and parenthood hasn’t always been easy,” she reflected, “but I’m incredibly grateful to have a supportive husband who’s been with me every step of the way.” That experience strengthened her time management skills and taught her the importance of relying on a support system.
Britney’s leadership has made a measurable impact at Taco. Working alongside colleague Ben White, she spearheaded the development of the Business Operations System (BOS) documentation, creating a structure where none existed before and improving clarity and efficiency across teams. While much of her work is behind the scenes, its effects are felt throughout the organization.
“Britney is a valued member of the Taco family, and we are so proud of her being named to PBN’s 40 Under 40. Her contributions to Taco have been exceptional and it has been awesome to watch her grow and flourish in her leadership journey,”

Leading by example and building community
Britney’s leadership style is rooted in humility and collaboration. “I don’t ask my team to do anything I haven’t done myself,” she explained. She values learning from those around her and focuses on fostering trust. This approach extends beyond the workplace: Britney and her family volunteer with Swansea, MA, Little League, running equipment drives to help local families get involved without the pressure of buying new gear. “It’s something we really enjoy doing together,” she said.
Reflecting on recognition and looking ahead
For Britney, being named to the 40 Under Forty list is deeply meaningful. “Day to day, I’m just focused on getting things done, but this recognition made me pause and appreciate the journey,” she shared. It’s also been special to celebrate the moment with her son, showing him that dedication and kindness truly matter.
The recognition comes as Britney takes on new challenges at Taco, including serving as project manager for the Transition to Epicor project with the Hydroflo team. She attributes these opportunities to the company’s culture of trust and empowerment. “If you show you’re willing to put in the work and take initiative, people notice and give you opportunities to grow,” she noted.
Advice for the next generation
Britney encourages young professionals to “work hard, but don’t be afraid to ask questions,” reminding them that success is rarely achieved alone. “Respect and collaboration go a long way,” she added. She also emphasizes learning from mistakes and staying humble, values instilled by mentors who pushed her to step outside her comfort zone.
As she looks to the future, Britney is excited to continue advancing the Epicor project, helping her team grow, and mentoring others. “This recognition is a strong reminder to keep pushing forward and giving back,” she said.
Britney Crisafulli’s story is a testament to the power of adaptability, perseverance, and authentic leadership—and why she’s truly deserving of this year’s 40 Under Forty honor.
